Principal Consultant
Velocity 61 is led by James G. Thomas, a respected governance and compliance advisor with extensive experience in enterprise risk, safety regulation, audit and executive leadership.
James has advised audit and risk committees, supported public sector boards, and facilitated ISO-aligned governance systems across a wide variety of sectors. His work is grounded in integrity, discretion and collaboration—qualities that have earned the trust of executives across government, not-for-profit and commercial environments.
James believes that good governance begins with active listening and clarity of purpose. His leadership style is both strategic and practical, focusing on delivering outcomes, not jus tprocesses.
